The School of Engineering at the Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) invites application for faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor levels with a breadth and width of experience in Petroleum Engineering. Successful candidates will have demonstrated teaching, learning and research abilities in the related fields of Petroleum Engineering.

To this end, ACK seeks experienced faculty members that are keen to be part of this dynamic institution that matches the abovementioned academic rank to join the School of Engineering – Petroleum Engineering Department commencing August 15th, 2021. At this stage, priority will be given to candidates specialty with a strong record of undergraduate and graduate education, a nationally and internationally recognized research record and a strong vision for multidisciplinary energy-related research. Working with the local petroleum industry to identify, evaluate and investigate the full potential of the oil recovery in Kuwait and throughout the world. Technologies under investigation include standard water-flooding, polymer-based recovery technologies, carbon dioxide flooding, surfactant/polymer flooding, well stimulation, and oilfield water treatments, however, other candidates with expertise in other fields of Chemical/Petroleum Engineering are encouraged to apply. Screening of applications will begin immediately and will continue until all the positions are filled.
Preference will be given to the candidates who will combine excellence in teaching with a demonstrated capacity to conduct interdisciplinary research that will expand and complement our current research program.
