• Plan short term and long term business goals for the business unit.
• Formulate the annual business plans in conjunction with the business plans and ensure the set targets are achieved.
• Implement sales and marketing strategies and review them against set goals, take proactive measures, if required.
• Allocate adequate resources to attain business goals and plan manpower requirement.
• Lead, motivate, train and develop a high performance team of professionals to achieve set targets.
• Foster strong business relations with key customers and principals.
• Arrive at profitable selling prices and align other relevant clauses/ conditions within the contracts.
• Have in-depth knowledge of downstream/upstream related business & the relevant markets, competitors etc and chalk strategies to attain and attract new customers and suppliers.
• Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events etc. to promote sales.
• Drive high customer focus within the organization.
• Ensure complete roll out and usage of CRM systems to track and improve services provided to customers.
• Promote quality drive within the business units.
•Technical and Commercial bid evaluation of vendors
• Technical & Commercial bid preparation for client submission.
