- To assist in developing analytical reports on the markets, products and brands, as well as market intelligence using different data sources
- To undertake market research from both internal and external sources and identify, analyze and synthesize information to provide support to the management in taking necessary marketing related decisions
- Collate and collect data on new products launched in the markets of operation, new Stock Keeping Units (SKU), new brands, promotions/ offers and discount through Coordinate with Sales and Merchandizing departments
- Study and analyze reports pertaining to regional and domestic economic, social research, consumer tastes and preferences using sources like internet, publications, market research reports
- Act as the point of contact for the business unit in research assignments where Market Research agencies are engaged for secondary research reports pertaining to existing or potential product categories
- Analyze purchase, existing stock and sales data to provide trends and intelligence on product off-take
- Prepare reports or data required by General Manager/ Sector Head/ Mezzan Senior Management pertaining to Marketing department and discuss possible improvements.
- Provide sales reports eg. Sales by SKU, by customer, by channel etc.
- Prepare sales and marketing presentations for the GM and suppliers
