- Monitor the Infection Prevention Control program implementation throughout Primary Healthcare Centers as per international standards.
- Oversee the implementation of isolation precautions, antisepsis, disinfection and sterilization policies.
- Supervise the implementation of Infection Control policies/procedures and in outbreak investigation.
- Oversee surveillance activities through data collection on a daily basis and through conducting field visits.
- Monitor staff compliance related to hazardous waste, infection control policy & procedures and environmental cleaning & disinfection.
- Ensure appropriate intervention and education staff when healthcare infection outbreaks or non-compliance to infection control are identified.
- Deliver required education and counseling on infection prevention staff and patients and conduct orientation program.
