- Ensure the provision of proper and regularly scheduled housekeeping services to maintain a neat and pleasant environment for staff and patients.
- Participate in the negotiation of terms of Requests for Quotation (RFQ), proposals, bids, and services, related to housekeeping services.
- Contribute to the development of detailed contracts with housekeeping third party services’ providers, and ensure compliance to established terms.
- Supervise staff adherence to all procedures to maintain the facility’s cleanness, and ensure sanitation and hygiene standards are met.
- Conduct periodic visits to business units to meet with the housekeeping staff, resolve possible problems, non-conformances, or cleanness issues.
- Coordinate with Business Units Administration and assess housekeeping staff needs of material and supplies required to carry out the daily activities and prevent potential shortage of material and supplies related.
- Supervise the performance of housekeeping services providers, and receive feedback from staff to ensure work is carried out to the required standards.
- Ensure that the appropriate level of training is provided for all housekeeping staff and maintain training plans up to date for all housekeeping staff and test their knowledge of procedures regularly
