  • Business Development and Commercial Performance :


  • Develops the sales and marketing strategy and plans, policies and processes for the department with input from the Division Manager and ensures their effective implementation.
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Aligns sales targets with the strategic business plan and annual budget.
  • Responsible for implementing strategic initiatives related to the area of specialty to support achieving business strategic goals and objectives, and measures and reports on KPIs (incl. achievement of sales targets)
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Conduct ad-hoc functions assigned by the Division Manager
  • Prepare proposals and detailed costing and prepare contract documents for review by reporting manager prior to negotiation with clients
  • Achieve targets by developing new business with existing and potential clients making sure to achieve customer satisfaction and sales target
  • Conduct market research to identify new markets and customer needs to improve and acquire new businesses.
  • Participate in sales campaigns to drive revenue and increase product growth
  • Perform other duties as requested by DM


  • Compliance and Process & Operations:


  • Networks with and develop strong working relationships with existing and potential client base, including high level government officials.
  • Supports Division Manager in various client relationship building events/meetings
  • Negotiates variations in price, delivery and specifications with customers and communicates those internally to the functions
  • Ensures proposal submission according to client specifications and industry standards.
  • Acts and behaves in a way that is compliant with company guidelines and policies, especially those relating to Environment, Health and Safety, ethics and codes of conduct.
  • Confers with clients to coordinate logistics and delivery timelines and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays.
  • Answers/ reroutes all client queries, gathers market and client information, researches and analyses sales options.
  • Reviews sales performance to ensure whether business is meeting or exceeding targets.


  • Team Collaboration & Customer :


  • Engage proactively with colleagues and peers to drive business results
  • Deliver an excellent client experience at all times, ensuring client needs are met or exceeded
  • Work closely with other team members, sharing knowledge, discussing ideas and helping the team to achieve targets. Develop strong and effective working relationships with the team.
  • Accurate in transfer of information from the prospect/client to the team members.
  • Ensure Training needs are met of the team
  • Proactive and responsive to customers and prospective customers
  • Offer assistance and explanation when difficulties arise ensure complaints are followed up and that satisfactory solutions are obtained for both the customer and Business
  • Develop and maintain a network of relationships with existing and prospective clients, promote the image, culture and reputation of company as creative, dynamic and competitive.
  • Build and retain long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Ensures appropriate workflow management between staff through appropriate delegation of work.
  • Monitors the performance of team on an on-going basis, conduct performance reviews against agreed goals and ensure effective staff development.
  • Identifies training and developmental priorities for the department to ensure that all employees possess the requisite skills and knowledge to successfully perform their roles and responsibilities.
  • Coaches and mentor employees as appropriate to improve individual performance and develop a motivated and high performance team
