Key Roles and Responsibilities
Key Activities
- Comply with data integrity and security policies & procedures at all times.
- Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, permitting entry.
- Monitor alarm systems and watch video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment.
- Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
- Direct vehicles within warehouse premises in order to control traffic and facilitate vehicle movement.
- Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences and report in detail any suspicious incidents.
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
- Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises.
- Adhere to all company service and operating standards.
- Remain in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
- Immediately respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers.
- Protect the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues.
- Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control and accident investigations.
- Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
Job Requirement
Educational Qualification
- High school diploma.
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
Work Experience
§ Minimum of 0 - 2 years of experience in the same or related field.
