Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair strategic and tactical equipment located in the TCF building including: PROMINA, asynchronous Transfer mode (ATM) switching equipment, MUX, Pair Gain, SONET, patch panels, distribution frames, fiber optic modems, multiplexing equipment, media converters, switches/routers, servers, conditioning equipment, timing/synchronization devices and UPS systems. COMSEC keying of trunk encryption devices such as KIV-7 and KG-175. Report system, trunk and circuit status, including outages, hazardous and degraded conditions in accordance with DISA regulations. Perform trend analysis to detect equipment degradation and implement corrective measures to prevent system or circuit outages. Maintain equipment operating & PMCS logs; perform TCF inspections and implement all Telecommunications Service Orders (TSO) received from DISA or TCCC. Enters and responds to trouble tickets in Remedy AR System.
