Responsible for:
- Analyze financial statements of potential investee companies.
- Analyzing financial statements of investee companies.
- Management reports.
Purpose:
- To improve financial processes and management of direct investments through the application of effective financial analysis.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Extracts financial data from various accounting and information systems.
- Performs financial and cost accounting analysis of data.
- Analyzes financial data and extracts and defines relevant information.
- Interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance to project a financial probability.
- Reviews costs and performs cost benefit analysis related to projects.
- Performs statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data reported in various financial systems.
- Develops financial reports for forecasting, trending and results analysis.
- Records, classifies and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Assists in carrying out valuations of the group investments and subsidiaries.
- Performs other related functions as directed by the Group Finance Director.
