Responsible for the Enterprise Architecture, Operation and Maintenance of the SWA AD Forest and other AD forests within the SWA TNOSC AOR and adapting the system and OU structure to fit future customer needs. Responsible for the successful development and execution of Active Directory consolidation and migrations in a timely fashion and with minimal impact to the customer.
Responsible for the establishment, support and analysis of complex Group Policy hierarchy including the ability to troubleshoot causes for group policy processing failures.
Responsible for providing Subject Matter Expert level support down to the tier 2 level and troubleshoot complex problems using root-cause analysis. Responsible for planning and executing disaster recovery policies as needed.
Responsible for the monitoring and performance analysis of the AD & Exchange environment including replication and message routing topologies. Analysis will be used to make adjustments to flows, processes, tools and systems to improve reliability and performance using an ITIL/ITSM approach.
Responsible for validation of configuration change requests, change auditing, monitoring and logging of all enterprise assets including Domain Controllers, Exchange bridgeheads, mail gateways and appliances.
Responsible for the DNS Architecture including forwarding topology, zone creation, delegation and replication scoping, forward and reverse zone management, client logging, poisoning of domains and troubleshooting of name resolution issues.
Responsible for Identity Management and GAL Synchronization with external forests using a variety of tools including MIIS/IIFP, ForeFront Identity Manager, SimpleSync.
Responsible for many elements of Security Administration including Anti-Virus systems, patching, reporting, IAVA compliance, Retina Scanning, Public Key Infrastructure (CAC/SCL), permissions and group membership.
Must be skilled in shell programming techniques (PowerShell, VBscript, Perl, etc) and familiar with industry leading software tools. Must be capable of utilizing systems and tools that have been developed or specifically customized for use within the TNOSC. Must have the ability to adapt and/or develop new tools as needed to manage the system in an efficient manner.
