· Manages human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
· Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
· Advances human resource staff job results by counselling and disciplining employees; and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
· Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, recommending and implementing human resource policies and procedures
· Implements employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends, recommending benefit programs to management
· Manages a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions
· Responsible for authoring, reviewing, and updating organization-wide policies, procedures, SLAs and ensure all staffs have access to policies and procedures and take custody of the approved documents
· Collaborates with executives and managers to develop long-range, strategic goals for the organization in addition to conducting sessions on strategy awareness
· Translate the organization wide strategy into targets for the functions / departments, in co-ordination with the head of business excellence / MD
· Oversee development of guidelines / templates for effective business planning
· Compile strategy reports showing progress against targets, including variance analysis
Ensure ongoing alignment of strategic projects with the strategic objectives and Balanced Score Card (BSC)targets
