· Should follow the guidelines that are set by the Company for Eye examination, Prescription and Patient care.
· follow the procedure for eye test
· follow prescription rules
· To educate the customer with various corrective options and determine the best course of action suitable to their needs. e.g. Contact Lenses or Glasses
· To take ownership of updating customers’ medical information in the system, ensuring that records are accurate and up to date
· To handle any optometry related issues regarding customer dissatisfaction
· Ensuring that the contact lenses and other products in their store do not pass their expiry dates
· Assist the shop manager with inventory checking and ensuring that any shortage of stock is reported through the appropriate channels
· Optometrists must check the glasses RX when their outlet receives them from the Lab, and confirm the glasses prescription matches with what has been ordered
· Prescribe, supply, fit and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses and other vision aids
· Maintain accurate medical files for all patients
· Answer questions and provide advice to patients regarding vision and optical issues
