- Monitor, configure, troubleshoot and maintain various aspects of network connectivity, servers and systems including LANs, WANs, security and wireless implementations and other data communications systems to ensure uninterrupted performance and availability of the networks across all service lines.
- Develop networks (by installing switches, wireless access points, hubs, routers and cabling) and expansions to existing networking without compromising security and exposing networks to intruders.
- Maintain network cabling by labeling cables appropriately and blueprinting where cables are passing through (walls, roofs, buildings etc.).
- Collect and analyze network utilization, and monitor network performance to optimize availability and performance outcomes.
- Administrate internet access control by configuring the proxy server and providing internet or corporate email access to certain users.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot Domain Controllers, Exchange Servers and Internet Servers to ensure that the systems are online, continuously monitored and all data is successfully backed up.
- Interface with all business units, departments and personnel of regarding any networking issues which may arise.
- Design, specify, configure, install and maintain local area network hardware, software and telecommunications services.
- Administrate the LAN / WAN and Intranet across all business units, adding or removing users to domains or creating new domains.
