- Update and Define Client Requirements.
- Review and study the design drawings as provided by the Designer and make sure that it complies with the Kuwait Municipality Regulations.
- Facilitate with the contractor (MEP) Mechanical requirement with regards to permits.
- Follow up on Project Master Schedule/Time Management (Mech. Scope).
- Budget/Cost Management (Mech. Scope).
- Conduct Design Consultants short listing/ Pre-Qualifications (Mech. Scope).
- Prepare Design Consultant T.O.R (Mech. Scope).
- Review/Evaluate/Negotiate/Recommend Design Bid Awards (Mech. Scope).
Construction & Completion Phase:
- Insure the responsibility for Quality Control and Quality Assurance Aspects in the Project (Mech. Scope).
- Supervise and inspect the works done by the contractor(s) to ascertain that it is executed strictly in accordance with the Contract Documents.
- Witness all tests at the construction site.
- The Consultant shall review and approve shop drawings, samples and technical submittals which will be submitted by the MEP contractor.
- Check the construction locations, levels, benchmarks and coordinates established by the Contractor and check field investigations and surveys necessary for the inspection at site.
- Check and witness testing and commissioning of Mechanical systems.
- Check materials delivered to site, quantity, compliance etc.
- Review and reply to Mechanical related RFI's (requests for Information)
- General coordination among project participants and concerned parties with regards to (Mech. Scope).
- Monitor Design Program and Design Deliverables (Mech. Scope).
- Conduct Design Technical reviews (Mech. Scope).
- Review the design drawings with respect to discipline coordination (Mech. Scope).
- Review Design drawings and Specifications Documents as developed by the Design Consultant (Mech. Scope).
- Review and be familiar with Project Cost Estimates (Priced B.O.Q.) (Mech. Scope).
- Solicitation of interest, pre-qualification and short list of contractors (Mech. Scope).
- Monitor Project Controls, Documentation & Reporting (Mech. Scope).
- Assist in Administration of Construction Contract (Mech. Scope).
- Review and Monitor Contractor's site Logistics (On/Off site) (Mech. Scope).
- Monitor Contractors work progress and performance (Mech. Scope)
- General Site Coordination within project components (Mech. Scope)
- Review and assist and make recommendations on (Mech. Scope) Contract Administration Activities (Payments, Changes & Variation Orders).
- Monitor Projects Budgets & Financial Aspects (Mech. Scope)
- Monitor & Administer Completion (Mech. Scope).
- Monitor Final Inspections & Punch List, Testing & Commissioning (Mech. Scope).
- Prepare Project Close Out Reports, Documents & Final Account Reports (Mech. Scope)
