The Role in brief
As a Senior Software Developer, you will collaborate with software developers to automate the building, management, monitoring, and scaling of our infrastructure. You will be responsible for the deployment, technical accuracy, and completeness of integrated system designs across our development, testing, staging, and production environments. Expected to contribute ideas to improve our architecture and our processes in addition to writing code.
Your Responsibilities
- Compile system specifications into development components
- Participate in developing solutions
- Participate in development of long range planning for new projects and facilities
- Maintain software applications
- Analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of complex programs, and designing solutions to complicated programming
- Research and recommend software tools to management
- Work closely with management team in evaluating current systems and proposing future development
- Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems
- Provide recommendations to management concerning issues of programmer productivity and software development management
- Define functional specifications of the system for the appropriate hardware
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years' experience in computer program design methods and techniques
- Experience in or exposure to logistics, ecommerce, or transportation industries strongly preferred
- Must be proficient in, C#, Object Oriented Programming, .Net, ASP.Net 2.0/above, Relational database design, Desktop Application Development, Java Script, XML, JQuery, and Web services, MS SQL Server 2008R2, SQL 2008R2 Reporting Services, Ajax, Share Point Oracle 10g/Above exposure is a plus.
- Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff.
- Ability to use automations techniques to generate code based on code-patterns.
- Performs work of high difficulty in designing, writing, editing, modifying, and debugging computer programs
