Project Manager under the PMO office has the responsibility of acting in a support function towards the Sr. Project Manager and in developing key BEST PRACTICES and knowledge through the guidance recognized industry standard (PMI.org).
The project manager would shadow and assist Sr. project manager (PMO) in their duties from conception to completion of their project reviews. Also ensure that information about project progress is updated within a timely manner. Advising on whether budgetary constraints have been respected as well as standards and specifications.
The project manager will shadow the Sr. Project Managers activities related to any assigned projects and assist in keeping updates of project plans and allocated resources. Assist in measuring project progress whenever needed. He/she also acts as the PMO Point of Contact, interfacing regularly with project programmers, clients and internal departments with any matters related to assigned projects. coaching stakeholders in the functions of the PMO.
