Responsible for the storing and distributing of supplies and equipment; maintaining inventory and stock records as well as maintaining a perpetual inventory accuracy while administering maximum utilization of storage space and efficient product handling control in terms of quality to minimize damages/losses.
Responsibilities:
Implement the Department policies and procedures and comply with AAW’s other policies.
Receive all the goods for the orders placed and confirm that the goods are received in good condition and the quantities received are in-line with the vendor packing list.
Unpack all incoming goods/products as well as perform efficient wrapping and packing of all outgoing products in-line with set guidelines.
Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders; process and distribute documentation with purchase orders; reports, documents and track damages and discrepancies on orders received.
Initiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock of all regular stores items whenever the stock level of any item of store approaches the minimum limit fixed and stop further purchasing when the stock level approaches the maximum limit.
Maintain quality control and up-to-date records (including invoices) of all supplies, materials, products and items both inbound and outbound shipments.
Maintain a stock count of all the goods and make a reorder as and when necessary by contacting the concerned staff.
Maintain a comprehensive and detailed computerized record system for suppliers, requisitions, purchase orders and product specifications.
Ensure cleanliness of the main store room, the company's stores and that all equipment, stationary are in a proper condition.
Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing orders for supplies and verifying receipt of supplies.
Assign a barcode for all the company's fixed assets (furniture, equipment) according to every department, in order to facilitate the inventory operation by the year end.
Ensure that the store is fully compliant administratively and procedurally according to the Company guidelines and deadlines
Maintain Ministerial documents in store as required by country law.
Prepare reports such as stock count reports as required by the Direct Manager.
Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
