- Responsible for day to day accounting operations.
- Record the assets purchases and disposal transactions.
- Record the accounting entries with respect to the petty cash expenses in the system.
- Perform periodic bank reconciliations of all bank accounts with the general ledger records.
- Coordinate with Accounting Manager and Chief Accountant with respect to Vendor invoice and payment processing.
- Verify the supporting bills and other documents submitted for expense booking.
- Carry out the preliminary steps of financial statement closing process with respect to extracting of trail balance, obtaining balance confirmation, depreciation calculation, provision calculations.
- Responsible for accurate payroll computation based on monthly attendance and overtime inputs from HR department and ensure remittance of salaries to employees’ respective bank accounts within the due dates.
- Ensure payment of all statutory dues within the stipulated dates.
- Perform reconciliations of all bank balances, receivable, payable, etc. before financial closing process
- Obtain balance confirmation form debtors and creditors.
- Help chief Accountant and Accounting Manager in timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing.
- Close Wearhouse inventory counts on quarterly bases.
- Compare budget to actual figures on monthly bases.
