Responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per Company standards, generating sales, merchandising, and safeguarding company assets.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.
- Answering queries from customers. And giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
- Aid customers in locating merchandise; ensure no customer is unattended.
- Responsible dealing with customer complaints and Communicate customer requests and complaints to management.
- Process deliveries & stock transfers in an efficient manner in line with Company Procedures.
- Be involved in stock control and management.
- Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
- Dealing with customer refunds.
- To inform and follow-up with customers of booked and repaired products and report action to Shop-In-charge.
- Follow-up on the repair orders for timely delivery; Inspect and ensure all repairs have been carried out in accordance with the customer's requirements before informing the customer.
- Safety and security Management
- correct use of security measures, vigilance to all areas of risk, & correct completion of all required documentation in order to eliminate stock loss.
- Responsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc.
- Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor.
- Store presentation
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and stocking shelves with merchandise.
- Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping when required.
- Cash Management
- Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.
- Balancing cash registers with receipts.
- Ensure proper amounts of payments are received from the customer and proper change/balance amounts are returned;
- ensure proper procedures are followed in case of Credit Card sales.
- Prepare invoices thoroughly without any corrections or over-writing for all sales made.
- Product Management
- Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.
- Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock.
- Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.
- Reporting
- Prepare and submit the Daily Sales Report to the Shop-In-charge.
- Report to Supervisor excessive display material lying unutilized.
