General Summary:
Act as a lead for BIM team and develop BIM expertise for succesful delivery of multi-disciplinary projects by ensuring customer satisfaction with quality and timely completion.
TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES:
ü Establishes the proper BIM procedures and methods for the organization, Programmes and Projects.
ü Generate and develop BIM execution plan (choosing the tools, defining model elements, generating attributes, generating workflow and workflow charts...etc.) through the project.
ü Coordinate with all trades, eliminates clashes & generate and develop clash solving criteria and workflow to generate clash report with clash classification and resolution.
ü Assure model quality & process quality through the project.
ü Generate the final BIM Models and documents (BIM Manuals, BIM final clash report, Model attributes extraction and Models notes).
ü Control the production of BIM deliverables, in compliance with previously agreed standards and methods, on multiple projects under executions.
ü Ensure that tools and processes are properly used in order to comply with the standards in place and Customer Requirements.
ü Provide Training for MEP staff on Revit MEP.
ü Work with team to ensure proper QA/QC protocols are consistently implemented and outputs meet the required standards and agreed deadlines.
ü Collaborate with Clients and Contractors to develop project BIM Execution Plans and facilitate their implementation into projects.
ü Prepare and maintain BIM models, including maintenance of referenced models, BIM file management, and file transfer protocols, to allow simultaneous production by monitoring & controlling a large multi-person team without loss of productivity.
ü Setting up internal workflow and collaboration process for infrastructure projects, Model quality checking, model clashes checking, etc.
ü Run BIM coordination meetings with other BIM technicians and engineers to resolve conflicts.
