Organization:
Our client is a manufacturing and electrical trading company in the State of Kuwait. The company has products ranging from LV switchgear, circuit protection, control & automation, wiring accessories, lighting and other electrical products for domestic, commercial & industrial sector. The company has more than 10 retail outlets & products are selling through authorized resellers, wholesalers, co-ops, hypermarkets and supermarket.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Our client is hiring an experienced and energetic Sales Manager, preferably currently in Kuwait with good market knowledge.
His responsibilities:
· Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results;
· Identify emerging new product markets, while being aware of current and new product market shift and competition status;
· Assess, clarify and validate new product needs;
· Set up new sales channel locations and oversee the onboarding process;
· Assess and validate modern technologies on ongoing basis for new and existing products;
· Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quota for each sales channel, project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products;
· Develop business plan san sales strategy that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability;
· Performance and development of sales key accounts;
· Prepare action plan by individual as well as by team for effective search of new sales leads and prospects;
· Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new market;
· Assist in development and implementation of marketing plan as needed;
· Conduct one-on-one review with all key accounts to build more effective communicate and to provide insight for improvement o account’s sales and activity performance;
· Provide timely, accurate and competitive pricing on all completed prospected applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin;
· Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales and activity reports;
· Assist in preparation of sales proposals and presentations and annual budget;
· Control expenses to meet budget guidelines;
· Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes and ensure that these are communicated and implemented within the team;
· Hire and train new sales representatives, schedule intercompany transfers, assign daily duties and motivate staff at any retail location;
· Maintain sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
