GENERIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
·Corporate Governance: Ensure all section activities comply with corporate governance & regulatory/legal frameworks
·People Management: Develop, motivate and coach people in line with succession & career planning requirements
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
·Perform a final review on all signed Credit Documentation to ensure compliance with approvals before instructing Operation Department for limit processing.
·Review all Credit Application Reports to ensure compliance/correction of information in line with CCU Check List before forwarding to credit committee secretary for scheduling for the meeting.
·Instructing Operation Department to do the following as applicable after receiving all necessary approvals in accordance with authority matrix:
a) Sub-allocation b) Reallocation c) Extension d) Collection if applicable Fees e) Static data change (codes, int., limit…etc)
·Oversee the process of Risk with Other Banks Inquiry Requests for Corporate Banking Division new customers.
·Oversee secret numbers requests prepared for Corporate Banking Division customers.
·Handling all queries raised by CBK Inspectors/ Internal and External auditors on Corporate Banking related issues (when assigned).
·Attending to management requirements/queries related to Credit Control Scope of work.
·Assist Risk Management division in the process of reviewing and updating Credit Policies, Guidelines, Procedures, and Authority Matrix for applicable for Corporate Banking Division.
·Preparation of the following reports on a monthly basis:
o Documentation Exceptions (Notarization to be completed post fact)
o Collateral Exceptions (facilities processed against promise to mortgage)
o Other Stipulated Conditions.
