Responsibilities / Duties:
- Promote the sale of MHD’s products (Traction, Stationary / Stand-Power Batteries and Chargers)
- Conduct market surveys from time to time to keep abreast of new start-ups, market trends and competitors’ activities
- Develop new customers in assigned territory / territories
- Maintain and foster good relations with the company’s existing customers if and when required to do so
- Promote the MHD’s products through telemarketing
- If and when required, assist in the MHD stores (Inventory checks, etc)
- Perform administrative functions of the department including but not limited to invoicing, Delivery Orders, quotes, work orders, receipts and issues
- Perform battery inspections, sizing exercises, training of customer personnel in basic care and maintenance of batteries
- Maintain accurate and detailed customer records and be actively involved in monthly collections
- To adhere to the company’s policies and procedures including but not limited to appropriate codes of conduct, QMS and EMS guidelines
- Any other duties assigned by the Manager – MHD.
