- Leadership and administrative skills to supervise and co-ordinate all the activities related to laboratory fluid analysis.
- Shall be fully conversant with API, ASTM, AWWA, NACE, ISO and all other relevant standards utilized in the chemical analysis.
- Understand the full range of laboratory equipment and testing techniques and their proper applications to carry out chemical analysis of oil, gas and water in the refinery industry.
- Formulate plans and working practices to execute the chemical analysis programs.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures for laboratory analytical activities.
- Understand and comply with Organization's national and international codes, regulations, reporting procedures, and standard practices
- Shall be able to follow all the technical and health, safety and environment requirements in laboratory.
- Prepare comprehensive reports related to laboratory analytical activities, inventory management, laboratory equipment maintenance and calibrations
- Develop and conduct formal training programs including one-on-one training for undersigned Company’s and Contractor’s Staff by demonstrating proper use of various instruments and testing techniques required for proper functioning of laboratory.
