· Develop and implement procurement processes, material plans, supplier qualification strategies, structure, plan and engagement of the procurement teams to procure equipment, materials & systems complying to project Quality and Specification requirements.
· Set all necessary policies that governs purchasing and warehouse operations.
· Provide project based accurate forecasts to the CEO on cost, delivery and performance of projects.
· Manage the purchasing functions and the MIS tools available to ensure on time delivery of inventories.
· Oversee the entire warehouse management, warehouse material management, distribution operations and warehouse reporting.
· Plan & implement efficient system layouts in warehouse for smooth supply chain management.
· Procure materials and subcontract in timely manner within approved budgeted cost.
· Oversee resolving of damaged and returned items in strategic approach.
· Set regulations of safety in warehouse and assure proper following of these regulations.
· In coordination with warehouses, review delivery schedule and assure enough space is available for the purchased items.
· Responsible for checking all ex-stocks availability in central stores and sub stores, before ordering.
· Ensure timely delivery of equipment, material & systems to support site installation works as per approved work program.
· Approve the delivery shipments and check the compatibility of the delivered items with the purchased orders.
· Restructure the procurement department and establish a competent team conforming to the management for approval of the procedures and policies with respect to time, cost, and quality.
· Maintain contracts for all the current suppliers of raw material
· Prepare documentation for internal process as per ISO Standards.
· Assure warehouse is doing the documentation, classifications and storing are done as per the storing systems and in terms of loading and unloading as well.
· Develop and maintain good relations with suppliers.
· Maintain company reputation & credibility by fair dealings and prompt payment.
