- Should have good knowledge in chemical analysis techniques applied in refinery industry, use of laboratory analytical equipment kits and reagents and should carry out chemical analysis of oil, product certification, gas and water in the refinery industry.
- Shall be fully conversant with API, ASTM, AWWA, ISO, NACE and all other relevant standards utilized in the chemical analysis of oil, gas and water
- Shall be able to prepare chemical fluid sampling matrix and prepare a program of works to conduct chemical analysis.
- Shall be knowledgeable and confident in the use and calibration of instruments and equipment for the chemical analysis.
- Should follow all technical and health, safety and environment requirements in laboratories
- Shall be fully experienced in auditing the sampling points used for field and laboratory chemical analysis for all client's facilities
- Follow all the technical and safety requirements to take samples of any oil, gas and water from the process streams, which will normally be operational and under pressure and to carry out the required on-site field chemical analysis
- Perform residual analysis of treatment chemicals used in the oil and gas production and water handling facilities
- Shall be able to use laboratory analytical equipment software and prepare daily reports of chemical analysis and maintain their database.
- Shall be able to prepare daily reports of corrosion rates and chemical analysis and maintain them in a computer database
- Shall be able to prepare and keep records of chemicals, reagents and laboratory instruments utilized in chemical analysis and report supply/purchase of the same in a timely manner.
- Preparer laboratory quality manual and standard operating procedures.
- Computer literate, familiar with LIMS, team player and having the skills to communicate to the Company’s personnel.
