Role Summary
 


Provide operational support in executing administrative requirements related to providing excellent customer service and assists in maintaining excellent store conditions.
 


Key Accountabilities
 


1.       Customer Service


·      Carry out the day to day smooth running of the practice of store and providing excellent customer service.


·      Ensure guest-friendly atmosphere and quality customer service behaviour for Store guests.


·      Responsible for obtaining information on guest for store and communicating relevant information to staff in a timely manner.


·      Deal with guest complaints and enquiries related to store, pass full details to the relevant department head as soon as possible to do the needful.


·      Ensure appropriate customer service is given to internal and external stakeholders.


2.       Store Coordination


·      Exercise general control over all activities in stores area.


·      Maintain proper records and ensure safe keeping for all materials stored in a good quality and quantity.


·      Initiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock of all regular stores items whenever the stock level of any item of store approaches the minimum limit fixed in respect thereof.


·      Follow-up with stationery & printing supplier’s side to ensure delivery of required material in a good quality and identical quantity.


·      Issue materials only in required quantities against authorized requisition notes/material lists.


·      Check the book balances, with the actual physical stock at frequent intervals by way of internal control over wrong issues, pilferage, etc.


 


3.       Administration


·      Extending the needful help to the facilities team leader for obtaining quotes and supervision any purchasing or facilities tasks assigned by his reporting manager as needed.


·      Initiate action for stoppage of further purchasing when the stock level approaches the maximum limit.


·      Check and receive purchased materials forwarded by the receiving department and to arrange for the storage in appropriate places.


·      Reserve a particular material for a specific job when so required.


·      Make the needful replacement to cover the security team at any time as requested from his reporting manager.


·      Perform first aid or CPR as needed.


 


The above list of responsibilities is not exhaustive and you may be required to undertake other responsibilities and training as requested by your line manager, appropriate to your grade and commensurate with the business need.
