Kitchen Managers act as our army commanders – they are on the floor, constantly circulating, making sure everything is flowing and putting out fires (figurative ones, hopefully). As a Kitopi Kitchen Manager you’ll keep lots of balls in the air – you’ll make sure all the food we send out is high quality, on time, and within budget. You’ll be responsible for creating schedules and keeping staff on track, and you’ll get the awesome feeling of promoting people when their performance is stellar.
You’ll also make sure we are consistently complying with health and safety regulations. Kitopi Kitchen Managers are our reliable work horses, except that, because it’s Kitopi, there’s always a unicorn sprint to the finish line.
• Coordinate satellite kitchen teams and oversee a structured daily routine ensuring the highest standards are met. Optimize operations so that Kitopi’s Kitchen Managers and Kitchen Optimizers are at peak performance levels with astonishingly low prep times.
• Identify operational weaknesses and gaps by regularly deep diving into all aspects of our delivery operations. Create and optimize processes for scale. Continuously improve systems, processes, and best practices that guarantee organizational well-being.
• Assist in providing solutions at the team and client level among all KSA kitchen satellites in collaboration with Kitopi Operation Managers. Perform quality control checks and monitor production KPI’s.
• Set the team ethic and tone, developing a strong culture of continuous improvement to consistently raise the bar of execution. Create and monitor all kitchen schedules.
• Assure that all employees adhere to Kitopi uniform and sanitation codes.
• Evaluate the performance of your assigned team and initiate promotions. Frequently tour through all kitchen facilities to ensure the highest possible hygiene and maintenance standards.
• Control food costs by reviewing and approving all store requisitions and direct purchases, as well as minimizing waste. Ensure HACCP and ISO standards are consistently implemented and follow the appropriate hygiene standards as per official requirements.
• Maintain and raise the profit margins on food whenever possible. Comply with the company environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
