- Perform the day-to-day sales activities, in addition to following up on orders and deliveries to achieve the monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maximizing Product availability in line with Trade channel must stock list.
- Conduct periodic check-ups on the floor display, implement the visibility agreement in order to ensure that company’s products are located in the agreed upon store space.
- Administer the inventory movement of the products within the store/ warehouse in order to identify low inventory levels and coordinate with the concerned support team for the provision of the required stocks/ materials.
- Minimize sales returns/damaged goods and short expiry goods by enforcing proper merchandising, monitoring returns, implementing the depletion plan and avoiding overstocking the points of sales.
- Assist the sales manager in coordinating sales promotion activities and campaigns according to predefined budgets.
- Follow up on the collection of invoices and due payments, in order to ensure receivables are paid on timely basis.
- Communicate the weekly visit schedules to the merchandisers, technicians & customers wherever applicable to ensure timely delivery of all the required items to the assigned stores/ warehouses.
- Ensure that all sales documentation is maintained and recorded in their respective files.
- Anticipate customers’ needs and provide appropriate solutions to meet their requirements.
- Maintain positive relations with existing customers in order to ensure customer retention.
- Handle and respond to client’s queries in a professional and effective manner to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Provide customers with the appropriate selection, sampling of products in response to their inquiries and liaise with the supervisor/sales manager in order to provide customers with quotations, as required.
- Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by Direct Manager.
- Ensure collections from customers are handed over to the Finance department within the pre-set time schedules wherever applicable.
