Coordinate with operations team as well as merchandising staff about budgets or products to be purchased.
Monitor the performance of the different product lines fast and slow moving items to come up with solutions.
Analyze price points, colors or styles to determine which merchandise has the potentials of being bestsellers.
Monitor the products launch date and the position of the stock at the stores act accordingly to move stock around.
Provide information to print on price tags such as price, mark-ups or mark-downs, season code, or style number...etc.
Determine which products should be featured in advertising, when the ads should be run effectively.
Monitor competitors' sales activities, new launches, product quality, prices and new categories.
Train sales staff seasonally, updating the Operation team on collections and trends.
Visit stores regularly to recheck proper merchandising of items with proper sale tags and display.
Generate all reports relate to past buying trends, quality of merchandise, sales performance etc.
