JOB SUMMARY
Organizes, Supervises and coordinates installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair supervision of all company’s equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organizes, supervises and co-ordinates the activities of the equipment, paperwork, logistics and maintenance
- Receives work orders and status reports, decides priorities and assigns work to related parties according to work schedules and priorities, including breakdown situations.
- Develops and follow up preventive maintenance program to ensure optimum level of performance of equipment. Also ensures that up-to-date records are maintained.
- Reviews technical manuals and monitors defect records of various related equipment.
- Co-ordinates with Safety personals for the inspection of all relevant sites.
- Investigates the incidents of product losses due to operation.
- Prepares yearly cost estimates and material demands for spare parts, test instruments and tools required for carrying out related maintenance activities.
- Participates in the evaluation of tender proposals, by providing technical information and recommendations.
- Estimates the requirement for maintenance contracts and participates in the evaluation and selection of suitable maintenance contractors.
- Reviews, Specifies and develops maintenance methods to improve repairs operations efficiency.
- Keeps abreast of industry practice, technological advancements and developments, new methods, equipment and materials related to Equipment Maintenance
- Assists through participation and contribution to the performance improvement strategies of the department.
- Commits and works to deliver good risk management and safety performance.
- Performs any other related duties as directed.
