Overview:
- Reporting Manager / Supervisor: Project Manager/Project Engineer
- Interfaces with: Project Team as per the organization chart
- Responsible for: management of civil activities of the project.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Key Result Areas
- To prepare method statements for executing Civil works.
- To prepare work schedules on daily, weekly and monthly basis and meet Schedules.
- To motivate, supervise the workforce to achieve timely execution with best quality workmanship.
- Pre-commissioning & commissioning activities for Electrical Work.
- To assist the Estimation Dept. in tabulating quantity take off, floating enquiries and analyze offers from vendors.
- To ensure Quality and Safety standards are followed in construction / installation.
- To ensure availability of material, equipment and work force as planned.
- To prepare submittals.
- To generate status reports of ongoing works.
Communication and working relationships - With client, sub-contractors, suppliers and vendors.
- With Project Director / Project Manager.
- With concerned Engineers and subordinates.
- Health, Safety and Environmental Manger/Engineer.
- Planning Manager/Engineer
Supervisory / decision making responsibilities
- Decision related Technical review aspects of the discipline. With regard to evaluation of construction activities and vendor submittals
Physical demands
- Physical & Health fitness to carry out the assigned duties.
Job Context / Work environment:
- Drive defensibly company vehicles and maintain a minimum daily driver rating of 95%
- Ensuring that apply all safety protocols and regulations
- Respect for safety and other company polices procedures
- Must implement standards and environmental regulations during the regular activities
- 25% office work with about 75% of time for field trips
