Responsibilities
- Provide customer care team with everyday comprehensive reporting data along with tracking information.
- Conduct comparison analysis and present monthly reports on data performance to plan.
- Support monthly summary of transporter scorecard reports along with tracking metrics
- Perform on going evaluation and review of transportation arrangement for constant improvement opportunities.
- Collect scorecard metrics and ensure to persuade changes with suppliers.
- Present status reports to improve and supervise logistics order performance.
- Coordinate and investigate client logistic associated charge backs like shortages, lost/ damage product in transit and missed deliveries with account representative.
- Maintain production schedules based on forecasted needs and actual customer orders.
- Maintain all production numbers, product inventories and product code dates to maximize order fill rates and inventory turns.
- Schedule all freight loads with regards to plant and customer requirements for shipping and receiving.
- Work hand in hand with Procurement Planning and Assistant Store Manager pertaining to approved monthly purchase plan i.e. quantity, required date, etc.
- Acquire quotations/price verification from approved suppliers, existing contracts, alternative source, etc.

- Acquire quotations/price verification from approved suppliers, existing contracts, alternative source, etc.
- Identify areas of potential cost reduction such as clubbing of orders, negotiate freight charges if there are late deliveries at supplier’s end.
- Follow up with suppliers for settlement/Credit note for incurred charges such as demurrages from shipping line/port.
- Acquire copy of shipping documents from suppliers for the incoming deliveries.
- Submit the documents to clearing team for review and approval.
- Coordinate with the suppliers if there are some discrepancies and missing fields in the documents.
- Remind suppliers regarding shipping document requirements and advise if there are any new policies from Kuwait Authorities.
- Update the monthly declaration to insurance company and acquire monthly policy.
- Open LC/LG in coordination with Finance dept
