- Process all pharma-related requisitionsas received from Materials Management, ensuring they are adequately completed; Support staff to correct or provide additional information when necessary, while formally incorporating each pharma-related finished requisition into the Supply Chain database.
- Prepare, apply and follow up Import License and Tax Exemption applications procedure as well as timely renewal / extension with relevant government offices; Report to the Procurement Head and Logistics Division any changes in Operating Procedures regarding Importation and Clearance practices; Negotiate with requester, budget holder, and pharma-related equipment suppliers when necessary.
- Ensure that all cargo tracking are followed up and keep relevant stakeholders informed regularly; Plan and coordinate the movement of pharmaceutical stocks from and between delivery points from the suppliers and Taiba pharmacies, while aiming to maintain an effective Quality supply chain of supplies that reduces overstocking and expiry of pharmaceuticals to a minimum.
- Assist key stakeholders in collecting drug consumption reports and in further analysing adjusted consumption information on a regular basis in order to guide project pharmaceutical procurement.
- Work closely with other logistics team members and give necessary support when needed; Support and work closely with Logistics to ensure that physical storage, classification and organization of drugs in medical warehouses are in accordance with standards and regulations.
- Ensure the creation and maintenance of a database containing prices, supplier information and specifications of non-sterile medical equipment and other items allowed to be procured locally.
- Keep all soft and hard copy of original shipping documents including quality certificates systematically in the server.
