IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Assistant Manager- Projects
DEPARTMENT: PrintShop
FUNCTION:
Supports the daily operations of the department.
PRIMARY TASKS:
1. Provide comprehensive level of assistance to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
2. Provide high level of administrative and clerical support to the department.
3. Undertakes special projects to meet the objectives of the department.
4. Prioritizes and manages multiple projects simultaneously, and follow-up on issues in a timely manner.
5. Perform printing, copying, scanning and other related services for students.
6. Provide students with an efficient stationery sales experience.
7. Resolve and delegate issues reported by students and staff members.
8. Monitor and operate the POS (Point of Sale) System.
9. Keep stock of all consumables (Stationery, paper, toner etc.) and restock when necessary.
10. Locate and purchase appropriate stationery before semester starts.
11. Make sure all stock is displayed properly and is maintained daily.
12. Take inventory of stock and cash every semester to ensure statistics are accurate.
13. Enter all data changes into server (Invoices and daily sales report).
14. Make trips to the bank for cash related services.
15. Process any necessary reports pertaining to MyPRINT.
16. Respond to any calls made to MyPRINT and attempt to resolve the issues.
17. Report any hardware and software issues to appropriate staff members.
18. Monitor and work on the uniFLOW printing management system.
19. Take over MyPRINT technical duties if required.
20. Resolve technical issues reported by the students and staff.
21. Ensure hardware and software is running smoothly at all times.
22. Keep stock of consumables used by printing devices (Paper, Toner, Staples etc).
23. Collect recycled papers from containers and sell them to the appropriate collectors.
24. Report any device problem to the contacted supplier’s technicians.
25. Follows the company’s rules and regulations.
26. Undertake other duties as required by the Assistant Manager- Projects.
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY: To ensure that duties are carried out to a satisfactory standard.
DIRECTION/SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Direction is received from Assistant Manager- Projects.
