The Human Resource Officer is responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, staffing, payroll management, employee counseling and maintaining records and information all in compliance with statutory obligations and best practice.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
RECRUITMENT:
• Prepare Recruitment- ad and use effective strategies to source the right candidates.
• Manage contracts with recruitment agencies (cost control, invoices, meetings and etc.)
• Source, screen and select suitable profiles as per the manpower plan and present to hiring manager a short list.
• Interview for lower level positions and schedule and organize interviews for higher level with the concerned department for next round of interviews.
• Prepare and send rejection emails to the unsuccessful candidates.
• Preparing monthly recruitment report for the Department Manager.
ON- BOARDING:
• Responsible for the joining formalities (PC, stationary, access cards etc...) and induction program of new hires.
• Prepare offer letters, joining letters & verify all employment contracts, associated paperwork in accordance with company procedures and policies and local labor law.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS/ PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT
• Maintain HR files with all relevant document and employee information electronically and in hard copies.
• Responsible to organize HR events like –Birthday’s, fun hours, farewell etc…
• Advice employees on company’s Policies and procedures and Kuwait labor law.
• Respond to employees queries on leaves, resignations, end of services etc…
• Coordinating, negotiating and renewing Medical and life insurance in compliance to Kuwait Labor Law.
PAYROLL MANAGEMENT:
• Administer salary processing for all the employees
• Responsible for keeping track of employees’ information using HR System /Mena I Tech (Time sheets, leaves & returns, sick leaves, overtime hours, deductions) for salary calculation.
• Coordinate & manage the Full & Final Settlement with the help of finance division.
COMPENSATION, BENEFITS & REWARDS MANAGEMENT:
• Ensure timely inclusion (new employees) and removal (exit employees) of employees in the prevailing medical & life insurance.
LEGAL ADVISORY SERVICES
• Liaising with the legal consultant for any legal issues’ arising from any Departments’ till the final outcome.
ADMINISTRATION
GOVERNMENT RELATION SERVICES
• Following up & renew the government official license of the company.
• Responsible for all Visa formalities (Renew Residency, visit Visa, Issue work visa, Renew passports, Transfer residency, Cancel residency and Extend residency).
