What are we looking for?
You will be the new Principal MEP Engineer to join our Building Design Division based in Kuwait. You, the Principal Mechanical Engineer will be a professional with the relevant qualifications, certifications and professional memberships. You are capable to provide planning, leadership, direction and technical expertise to manage complex tasks and multiple projects.
You will deliver management/leadership to the MEP team and report into the regional leadership. Acting as a Principal, it is crucial that you carry out the lead engineer role for a portfolio of projects in the region and manage business development.
Qualifications held must be a minimum of BSc, BEng, BA or equivalent.
What will my responsibilities look like in this role?
To provide high level of technical design engineering services to the team on multiple projects
- Leading multiple iconic and complex projects across the MEP team
- Taking ownership of client relationships and the financial success of the team and projects
- Reviewing financial and technical proposals and submissions
- Responsible for the progression of projects within the time frame and contractual obligations
- Developing individuals within the team
- Maintaining the highest standards of technical quality and continuously developing the departments capability
- Leading the electrical division towards the successful delegation of tasks and workload within the team
- Financially manage contracts, budgets, design changes on projects while maintaining the highest level of service delivery
- Delivery process for technical specifications and reports and drawings produced by the team for projects from start to completion
- Using previous project management and delivery experience or qualification, successfully manage project objectives and financial performance targets
