An assistant-manager’s job encompasses many responsibilities, including business development, preparing business cases, and providing support on project execution and delivery. The assistant manager also monitors plans for the department according to targets & objectives. There are also day-to-day tasks dealing with the clients and the internal team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assisting in carrying out sustainability assignments to clients in multiple industries
• Providing strategic guidance to meet client objectives and the agreed-upon approach
• Proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities and growing an existing global, high-profile client base—through business development activities
• Leading pitches and overseeing project teams and deliverables in areas such as: sustainability reporting & assurance, diagnosis, risk management, strategy, and sustainability report development, social impact, greenhouse gas accounting, etc.
• Leading and communicating effectively with the project teams and clients
• Acting an accountable liaison between the department head and the rest of the team, as well as between the clients and the RSM team
