Reconcile various loan accounts to general ledger accounts, researching and resolving problems accordingly
- Perform daily/monthly balance of and reconciles related GL accounts & Conducts account research and provides problem resolution.
- Ensure high quality, accuracy & integrity of all inputs & postings of loan applications & review financial documents submitted & verify all calculations/posting ensuring compliance with banking laws and regulations
- Analyze and translate data from systems and applications as necessary & researches and maintains profiles histories, suspected errors, etc. as required & research and resolve inquiries regarding related information.
- Ensure successful loan closings & notify the direct manager of any loan status and/or any issues that may arise.
- Work closely with all related parties to ensure accurate and efficient loan documentation and preparation for closings & detect suspicious and fraudulent loan applications
- Set-up and analyze oncoming loan files for compliance with bank policy, procedure, and banking law.
- Work with bank’s departments to ensure proper accountability, workflow and compliance at all times
- Maintain updated knowledge of rules, regulations and standards in the field and related matters of interest to the department.
- Generates and escalates periodic and requested reports ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Participate in the various cross-functional committees/teams for multiple purposes to achieve optimal cooperation and to assume seamless quality service.
- Perform other duties in line with scope of work and as instructed by the direct manager.
