Basic Functions:
-Supervise and evaluate all company branches within a designated geographical area
-Oversee the company branches including People, Processes, Policy & Products within the designated area of responsibility, ensuring all staff and management work towards achieving organizational objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
-Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits;
- Ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met;
-Resolving health and safety, legal and security issues;
-Responding to customer complaints and comments;
-Promoting the organization locally by liaising with local schools, newspapers and the community in general;
-Organizing the execution of special promotions,
displays and events;
-Touring the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying or
resolving urgent issues;
-Along with Marketing, maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing; Initiating changes to improve the business, e.g.
revising opening hours to ensure the store can compete effectively in the local market;
-To work with the Visual Merchandising & Space Management team and ensure proper plan & adjacencies that support departmental plans and store capabilities.
-Complies with and enforces standard policies and procedures.
- Select, train, motivate. Performance appraisals, devising PDP, coaching and evaluate department personnel. Direct, co-ordinate and review work
plans for the department, assign activities, monitor work flow, review and evaluate policies and procedures
-Holds monthly updates with team members and key strategic partners in the office for dissemination of information; prepares management meetings for dissemination of information
