• Ensures smooth functioning of the Centre through a well-coordinated security, maintenance and cleaning operation. Closely direct these functions and provide leadership and guidance as and when required
• Planning and scheduling yearly calendar of events and workshops at the Centre. Works with the Marketing Manager to develop annual budget for the Centre and ensures the plan is executed within the approved budget
• Schedules regular maintenance checks with the Facilities Manager, follows up to ensure they have been conducted
• Is the main point of contact for all cleaning and security staff, and is responsible for undertaking of the training of all personnel
• Carries out all various duties needed for each event with the guidance of the marketing manager, including marketing, planning and supervision, greeting Clients prior to event. Coordinates activities with the participating customer and event management agency, caterers or any third party required
• Creates and shares a weekly schedule of activities with Marketing Manager and team
• Handles the Centre’s customers’ enquiries, complaints and suggestions providing information as requested
• Promotes events and activities within the Centre; supports on the development of marketing material, if required, manages social media account
• Performs various administrative tasks and monitors inventory of assets, art and other items related to the Centre
• Monitors inventory of assets semi-annually, recommending updates to furniture or technology to the Marketing Manager for the Centre as required
• Prepare, with the support of the Marketing Manager, quotations, contracts, surveys, terms & conditions, catering and furniture lay-out proposals for Clients
• Supports the marketing function as required, this may include management of events, creating marketing collateral, managing agencies, support the social media function, and any other marketing related activity
• Creates relationships with the media ensuring effective communication channels with all local and relevant regional media
