Role Summary:
- Responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations including Corporate Governance. Provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company which insure the continuously sound Financial Structure the company. To control the flow of cash through the organization and maintain the integrity of funds, securities and efficiency of operations.
Role Purpose:
- Planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company.
- Direct responsibility for accounting, finance, treasury, budget forecasting, customer collections, costings, clearance, M&A Analysis, banking relationships and negotiations, compliance with legal accounting standards and Corporate Governance.
- To ensure the organization is competent to achieve its key strategic goals and operating budgets through the correct implementation and execution of effective financial processes and controls.

Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage all corporate fiscal activities for the organization including finance, collections, Information Technology and their reporting divisions.
- Work with the CEO on developing and implementing the Business Vision and Strategic Action Plan.
- Undertake necessary training within the Finance Team to raise awareness and knowledge of finance matters.
- Develop annualized operating budgets by division and establish a monthly updated forecasting mechanism for management review.
- Oversee the management and coordination of all corporate fiscal reporting activities for the organization including statutory annual reports and monthly management reports.
- Undertake detailed analysis of the monthly management reports highlighting weaknesses and variance from budget and making recommendations for financial improvement and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with legal financial reporting requirements based on records systems being maintained in accordance with appropriate auditing standards.
- Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards.
- Participate in the development of new business plans and prospective trade contracts and advise on the financial viability of such plans.
- Manage 'Accounts Receivable' (Collections) to optimize company profitability and cash flow and develop techniques to minimize corporate exposure to receivables.
- Monitor banking activities and recommend best practice treasury techniques for cash management, ensuring adequate cash flow to meet the organization’s needs.
- Assist in the design, implementation and timely calculations of wage incentives and commissions for staff.
- Ensure all applicable insurances are in place to protect company assets.
- To conduct periodic business cost reviews to ensure best value is being achieved from 3rd party suppliers.
