Tariq Alghanim Limited, a leading food services company with more than 40 years of successful market leadership in Kuwait, is looking for "Cost Controller" to support its development activities.
Job description :-
- Monitor food and allied costs periodically, report variances against budget and recommend solutions.
- Record information and produce control reports periodically to help the management to make proactive decisions.
- Engineer the menu in terms of costing.
- Coordinate with Operations Managers and Finance department to sort out issues pertaining to contract implementation.
- Continuously study weaknesses in controls implemented in contracts and suggest for improvements.
- Prepare the daily and monthly cost analysis report against the budget for each contract.
- Participate in monthly market surveys, analyze price trends report to the superiors.
- Conduct surprise inventory of stock in locations and report the variances against book cost.
- Monitor the waste control measures in production and service areas and report the status.
- Conduct spot random checks of the (a) receiving areas for accuracy of weigh scale and quality control measures (b) Requisition and issue process (c) Service areas for portion control.
- Monitor the price fluctuations in food stuffs and study the impact on food cost based on the recipes used.
- Monitor the staff meal cost.
- Interact with production and service crew to gather inputs on cost control measures.
- Identify the potential areas for cost escalations and suggest measures in advance to avoid it through research, observation and feedback from the stake holders.
- Review stock movement in locations as well as CWH and highlight slow moving stocks
