Responsible for building up, managing and servicing a portfolio of medium to large corporate relationships, at the branch in accordance with the Bank’s Credit Policy. In addition of ensuring the best return on the assets while taken in consideration the bank’s risks appetite and internal policies.
MAIN DUTIES:
To review and analyze a portfolio of corporate relationships at the branch in accordance with bank’s Credit and Risk Policy and the Business Objectives.
To review the existing corporate banking portfolio to maintain and enhance the asset quality and control the associated risks whilst exploring opportunities to maximize utilization and revenues.
To ensure that credit proposals are diligently prepared, reviewed and adequately supported with reasonable analysis of credit and are in line with the bank’s credit policy and procedure.
To ensure credit renewals and security documentation are promptly prepared and submitted and minimize the use of credit extension.
To ensure compliance with the CBK directives and guidelines and the bank’s credit, operation, market, AML & CFT policies in respect of asset portfolio quality and on credit management processes, with strict adherence to corporate governance. In addition to be aware of latest rules and requirements under the respective laws and Sanctions.
To understand and apply in all credit processes bank’s adopted applications credit scoring and credit appraisals like Moody’s Risk Advisory or any other internal rating and scoring application approved by the management.
To work closely with Kuwait Branch and other overseas units teams so as to conclude business opportunities in the best interest of the bank.
