Job Title –Senior Manager CBD & Treasury Operations

Job purpose
Manager Corporate and Treasury Operations activities in line with regulations, policies and best practice to ensure execution of transaction services
Job Description
GENERIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Corporate governance Ensure all divisional activities comply with corporate governance & regulatory/legal frameworks
2. Risk management Identify, manage, mitigate and report on risk and potential risk in divisional activities
3. People management/organizational development Develop, motivate and coach people in line with succession & career planning requirements and optimize organizational structures
ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Operations Policies & Procedures: Develop and implement Bank’s CBD, IBD and Treasury operations strategy as well as Policies and Procedures.
2. CBD, IBD & Treasury SLA Adhere to the agreed SLAs and ensure capability is in place to deliver on these.
3. Manpower & Productivity Planning Drive transaction processing through manpower and productivity planning so volumes are cleared effectively in line with deadlines
4. Customer support Provide procedures, training & support so that staff can advise clients and provide high quality service
5. Customer service & advice Advise and support internal and external customers to ensure solutions to issues are identified
6. MIS & Systems Identify systems enhancements to streamline process as well as manage databases that allow reconciliations/summary completion
7. Products: Manage products within authorized credit lines in order to meet targeted income/production/schedules and quality standards at optimal cost
8. Risk management Identify potential risk and take effective action. Ensure processes and systems are fraud and loss resistant
9. Fees Apply fee structures and propose fees for new or one-off services in line with cost and service value
Continuous improvement Deliver improvements and upgrades in systems and procedures which lead to optimal service levels
