PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTION
- All external marketing communication (catalogue, and brochures, TV, Radio, Newspapers).
- To achieve the goals for external marketing as set by the marketing manager in the marketing budget.
- You take care of the IKEA brand by ensuring that the IKEA brand identity, values and key benefits are correctly communicated (according to the IKEA international positioning objectives) internally and externally on your market. By focusing on generating large volumes of visitors to the IKEA store, you lay the foundation for maximized sales volumes and optimized long -term profit.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT
- You lead the work in producing or buying, from external suppliers, all the advertising as defined in the marketing plan. The catalogue represents, in most countries, the main communications investment and special care must be taken with it.
- Translations of the text in the IKEA Catalogue from English to the language of your market.
- You work very closely with IKEA Communications and Inter IKEA Systems Catalogue Procurement in the production of the IKEA Catalogue and brochures.
- You are responsible for planning and sourcing the distribution of the IKEA Catalogue in your market.
- You ensure that external marketing and marketing communication are in line with IKEA Concept Documentation.
- You strive to maximize sales and market share by generating visitors to the stores. You do this by optimizing the IKEA media mix of the stores, the IKEA Catalogue and other marketing activities.
- You strive to reach the cost budget set for all external marketing activities where the costs for the catalogue are the main cost component.
- You are responsible for the follow-up of the marketing costs and for the budgeting and follow-up of your de country expenses.
- You align with Com-In in Service Office to ensure the efficiency of communication strategy.
