Major Function:
To manage the revenue and expenses recognition and produce accurate and timely financial statements as per company policies. To manage all the payments as per company policies and procedures on a timely basis and recording the same accurately in the financial systems.
Operational Functions:
1. Verify and record all revenues on a timely basis and identify and report any discrepancies.
2. Verify all collections and bank deposits for all outlets on a regular basis in line with the POS systems.
3. Support the Department Managers in preparing costing reports and other financial reports.
4. Ensuring all the Supplier payments are done on a timely basis and as per company policies and procedures.
5. Responsible for maintaining and producing monthly financial statements with detailed schedules and identify and report variances to budget for each outlet.
6. Prepare and maintain a schedule of Security deposits and Fit-out deposits issued to malls and refunds claimed on a timely basis.
7. Keep track of all service contracts and report expiries in advance for timely renewals.
8. Respond to queries from operating departments and Suppliers on all issues relating to payments.
9. Ensure all documents are properly filed for easy retrieval.
10. Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register for all assets.
11. Support the General Manager and other Department Managers in providing any ad-hoc reports.
General Functions
1. Collaborate and work effectively within the internal teams by participating in meetings, sharing knowledge and helping team members on financial matters.
2. Carry out all other duties within the areas of Finance as and when requested by the Management.
