The Role
Responsible for managing multiple projects from initiation through to successful completion, for regular contact and examination of contribution by the project stakeholders, including planning, execution, and completion of validation projects. Perform a variety of duties involved in project development, implementation, coordination and support.

Responsibilities
Strategic
- Manage project discovery phase, liaising with clients and users, facilitating workshops and documenting user requirements.
- Scope, plan and budget projects, incorporating crucial details such as risk management and return on investment.
Functional
- Ensure that all projects are executed within budget, on time and to a high standard.
- Adhere to IT Governance model and PMO processes, procedures and methodologies.
- Track and follow up the progress and performance of project activities and dependencies, monitor milestones and raise notifications as appropriate.
- Assist in scoping, prioritizing and allocating project resources, leveraging the use of preferred Corporate resource groups where appropriate ensuring efficient use of resources to meet requirements.
- Proactively coordinate meetings / conference calls with all key stakeholders.
- Perform active role in maintaining client relationships.
- Maintain awareness of developments in fields of expertise (project management, IT, logistics, supply chain solutions) to ensure skill set/knowledge base remain current.
- Coordinate practical details of project deliverables, including assembly and transfer of operational and maintenance documentation
People Management
- Manage multi-cultural and multi-lingual team which may be virtual in nature.
- Foster a successful team-working environment whilst also helping to motivate individuals.
- Coach and develop the team, both individually and as a group.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. This includes (but is not limited to): interviewing, hiring, developing, transitioning, firing as well as planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
General
- Develop documents (e.g. proposals, requirements and specifications, manuals, etc.), and verify that the final product meet specifications.
- Build buy-in for projects, priorities and goals.
- Ensure all Company and Department policies, procedures and processes are followed.
- Ensure positive service image in the user community.
IT Security
- Implement and act in accordance with the organization’s information security policies.
- Protect assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference.
- Execute particular security processes or activities.
- Ensure responsibility is assigned to the individual for actions taken.
- Report security events or potential events or other security risks to the organization.
