- Set safety regulations and code of conduct for the company facilities and premises
- Checking the readiness of fire prevention/protection systems, organizing and conducting fire drills
- Ability to manage and assure compliance to project related Health, Safety and Environmental requirements consistent with best practice including ISO
- Carrying out inspections, plan and organize routine firefighting, safety and security checks/inspections.
- Addressing any form of violation of safety regulations within the organization
- Investigate and implement appropriate disciplinary action on violators of safety regulations within the organization
- Provides fire, safety & security training.
- Conducts toolbox meetings & inspections
- Administers contracts related to the maintenance of safety gears.
- Conduct first aid for Minor and Major incidents and evacuation drill
- Intervene in case of emergencies or major problems on-site and take the appropriate measures to prevent their redundancy.
- Coordinate with the all departments regarding HSE issues
- Prepare HSE plans, review procedures and instructions relevant to the project and make the appropriate corrections to ensure their alignment to the overall system and applicable requirements.
- Carry out the day to day operations of HSE department and contribute to the application of effective Health, Safety and Environmental management
