DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Environmental Specialist will be in close coordination with Environmental and Sustainability sections.
Review current Rules; Regulations and Standards available.
Evaluate and report any gaps in the standards and the way forward to bridge such gaps.
Develop guideline procedure to produce Overall Construction Environmental Management Plan (OCEMP).
Develop an outline rating structure for review that will address their immediate and long term requirements for sustainability and environmental issues in construction.
Coordinate with stakeholders for Environmental Planning and Documentation tasks.
Ensure the Sustainability Integration to the different disciplines.
Ensure Sustainability requirements are met by the Contractors and Consultant through proper insertion within the Tender Documents.
Assist the Training Manager in setting out required training courses addressing the goals and objects.
